Mark Daniel is a rock/blues guitarist, singer and songwriter. He was raised on 90’s American Alternative, American Blues, Blues influenced Classic Rock, most British Blues and Blue Eyed Soul.
Mark is a former Berklee College of Music student who spent the greater part of 12 years on smaller budget tours spanning the US. He recorded and played on a variety of independent rock albums on small labels, and on a few larger sponsored tours. He has opened shows for Steve Vai, Unified Theory (former members of Pearl Jam and Blind Melon), Everclear, The Spin Doctors, Living Colour, Vertical Horizon, and Eric Gales.
Mark lives by the classics such as Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Rory Gallagher, Steely Dan, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stevie Wonder, and Sting, just to name a few. He also connects strongly with modern artists such as The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes.
A bit over two years ago, Mark bought a small home studio to focus on his writing. He created about 50 songs, played all the instruments, and engineered and mixed the tracks himself. In January 2014, Mark partnered with drummer Mickey Curry (Hall & Oates, David Bowie, Bryan Adams, the Cult) to record a few songs he demoed in his home studio the previous year.
